No, it is not recommended to use the EcoStore Slimline Pro 230 under the bonnet. We advise against using our LiFePO4 batteries for under bonnet applications due to their lower thermal tolerance compared to other battery types, such as lead-acid or AGM. The engine compartment can reach high temperatures, particularly in demanding conditions or during extended use, which can degrade the battery's performance, lifespan, and safety.

The EcoStore Slimline PRO 230Ah 12V LiFePO4 Battery is solidly built, with strong mounting brackets that made installation easy and secure. This battery is top-notch in terms of durability, giving me confidence that it will last the long haul. The Bluetooth BMS monitoring is incredibly fast, updating input and output readings in real-time so I can monitor performance with ease.
Power-wise, this battery runs my inverter without a hitch, providing all the energy needed to keep my setup running smoothly. Whether it’s for heavy usage or just reliable backup. I am yet to see how the battery will last long term but looking at it's construction I'm sure it will last a good while.

I was initially put off with this product l, more so that it was newer and limited comments and reviews.
The Ecowatt team responded to my comments quickly and to my query’s regarding their product.
I bought it with hesitation but this thing is a solid battery, and looks the part in my canopy set up.
It charges faster than my named brand batteries.
And takes a beating while I’m out bush and on the tracks camping and shooting or just with the family.
This thing copt a hiding with salt water, stuff sliding around in my tray hitting it, sand mud.
And never missed a beat.
I ran Starlink, 95ltr fridge freezer, up right fridge lights, charge my go pro’s with only a 150w solar panel and by early arvo it’s charged 100%. Temps out side ranging from 30-40degrees so the fridges work pretty hard averaging about 4amps each at peak running.
Never fell below 87% over night.
Cannot recommend these guys enough.
