What is an A-Grade Cell?
An A-Grade Cell refers to a battery cell that meets the highest standards of quality and performance. These cells are rigorously tested and graded based on their capacity, voltage, and overall reliability. How do I use the Bluetooth Monitoring Feature?
To use the Bluetooth Monitoring Feature, first download the EcoWatt Energy Connect app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Then, open the app, connect to your battery, and start monitoring.
My Charger says the battery is fully charged, but the app is not showing 100% charge, why?
Sometimes, the State of Charge (SOC) display on the app may not be fully accurate until the battery has gone through a few full charge and discharge cycles. The BMS needs time to 'learn' the battery’s parameters and adjust accordingly before the Bluetooth monitoring provides precise readings.
What are your Recommended Charger/Shunt Settings?
- Charged voltage: Around 13.5V, but you can double-check this once the battery is fully charged.
- Bulk charging voltage: Between 14.4V to 14.6V
- Absorption voltage: Between 14.4V to 14.6V
- Float voltage: Around 13.5V
- Storage voltage: Similar to the charged voltage; 13.5V
- Discharge floor: It can be set above 20%. This setting is more about your personal preference for the charger than the battery. The higher this percentage, the better. We don't recommend going below 20%.
- Tail current: Anywhere between 2-4% is fine. Once the charging current drops below this range, the battery is nearly fully charged.
- Peukert exponent: This is mostly relevant for lead-acid batteries. For LiFePO4, setting it to 1.05 is standard
- Charge efficiency factor: Set this to 99%
- Current threshold: 0.1A
- Charge detection and Time to go averaging period: These can remain unchanged
- State of charge (SOC) synchronization: We recommend synchronizing the SOC to 100% once you've fully charged the battery
Can I use the EcoStore Slimline Pro 230 under the bonnet?
No, it is not recommended to use the EcoStore Slimline Pro 230 under the bonnet. We advise against using our LiFePO4 batteries for under bonnet applications due to their lower thermal tolerance compared to other battery types, such as lead-acid or AGM. The engine compartment can reach high temperatures, particularly in demanding conditions or during extended use, which can degrade the battery's performance, lifespan, and safety.

Have recently install the Slimline 230Ah 12V LifePO4 in the back of a late model Landcruiser to run fridge, air compressor and 1000w inverter - all running well - product is well constructed - hoping that it lasts as good as it looks - overall very happy with the purchase - also offers a good warranty to give peace of mind. Loaded the app for monitoring which is very easy to operate. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Quality build
I purchased the Slimline PRO 230Ah 12V LiFePO4 Battery - (EVE Cells) & (Bluetooth BMS - JBD) and installed it on the front wall of my canopy, that weekend I went away camping. The battery performed as it should, ran a 60ltr and a 30ltr fridge for the 4 days had a 250w solar panel to top up 2 of the days were overcast but the lowest the battery got down to was 55% and the highest temp was 30.5C and it was a 32C day. The battery lives in my canopy as I use it to run a 30ltr fridge and battery charger for my tools for work so far so good.

I ordered two 300AH Battery to replace the AGM Battery in our Caravan. Firstly I would like to say the service was outstanding from ECOWATT before I purchased the batteries Mark from ECOWATT contact me to see if they where compatible with the unit that was installed in my van. Mark advised system was compatible with the batteries but to just double check the manual before purchase.
I camped off grid for 2 days & they work excellent due to having limited sun I ran diesel heater, microwave, toaster, TV, Invertor & lights with the batteries only getting down to 73% charge very happy with this product.

I ordered the 300AH Battery to replace the AGM Battery in our Caravan. The EcoWatt on Battery was the only 300AH Battery I could find which as still small enough to fit my exisiting battery box. Having built in Bluetooth Management was also a must and this is done extremely easily using the app.

Great little battery for my set up. Slotted right into the space where I had my gel battery. Weighs about a third of the AGM. Very quick to recharge with the motor running, haven't tried the solar yet. Love the built in blue tooth, can connect whilst sitting by the fire to check the status. 10/10

The 100Ah battery has performed very well so far. It charged up quickly and has provided plenty of power as required. Much lighter than the GEL battery it has replaced and I'm very pleased with the performance and quality. The Bluetooth feature is excellent.

Haven’t installed it yet but seems good quality, and great after sales support. Couldn’t get Bluetooth to connect and good instructions over phone and email on how to fix( phone settings).
